Democrats are fired up, better organized, on message and everything else that the Republicans are not. Mitch misinforms, Souder scares, Borror is nowhere to be seen (Palin with no lipstick) and their Republican President says "If we do not do something this sucker is going down". Well you may be going down, but the Democrats will again rise to fix your mess. It start with folks going to the polls this November.

It has become increasingly likely that democrats, including myself, will win this November.  As I knock on doors in my district, I find most folks ready to throw their present leader out. It remains my greater goal to aid Long and Obama first and my own efforts second as we all work to unite Indiana.

There were a record number of lies, insults and attacks last week coming from campaings across Indiana and looks as it will not stop soon. I will, however, continue to speak of my vision for Indiana.  If the voters do not see through the crap that dominated last week, they will likely be taken to the same results of elections past. The issues are not being reported because the voters are not interested or have already given up on our leaders. Well, I have not given up on them!

So it turned into the best and biggest gathering of Dems / Labor I have ever seen in the Fort. It was a pleasure to meet hundreds of folks. VICTORY was in the air.  I have again seen the need for my effort as Jill needs everyone to pitch in for her to upset Daniels. Obama is looking like a landslide and Souder is DOA. Let us all help our candidate for Governor... I will be knocking down the doors in the 84th District 

As many of you already know, I am a father of five children. Back to school time has always been a happy/sad day as my emotions go wild.  Regardless of my own feelings, the kids, Kathy and I recorded a wonderful summer. Memories from "The year of the Staycation" will likely produce smiles throughout the remaining months. I remind you all to drive slowly and be alert of the new surroundings of children.

What a wonderful milestone the 1000th door was this weekend.  Not only am I feeling great about my chances, but I am also feeling great about the people I have met. One couple this weekend asked me in for a quick look at a kitchen faucet.  It helps that I am handy and was able to stop their leak.  I am looking forward to fixing the political climate in Indianapolis by stopping the leak of Hoosier tax dollars to the wealthy. Mitch Dainiels and my opponent have earned a defeat this November.

Well, it is again that time of year when there is not enough time in the day, Kathy and I enjoyed the Antiques in the Park already this morning. We are heading out to the Huge Garage Sale, Tour of the Cathedral, 1812 Encampment and hope to have time for Art in the Park.  I am meeting many wonderful voters that are eagrly supporting my campaign efforts. Hope to see you during this wonderful festival week, Please remember to treat others with respect as you negotiate the crowd.l

What a mess it was over the 4th of July as more Hoosiers (and many passing through Indiana) were witness to the results from my opponent and Governor Daniels. I am hopeful that the local media will continue to cover the facts that are obvious to toll road travelers.

Despite the rain and thunder it turned into a beautiful eve at the second Putt and Pot Luck.  We are planning again, this Sunday for another round at River City Links.  We start at 4:30, and remember that the Pot Luck is not required. Thanks to everyone who came.

Coming to Fort Wayne to inspect the new Votewehrle Headquarters is a surpise guest to be announced at the next Putt Pot Luck. Free food and fun plus golf, beach volleyball and billiards, Sunday June 22nd.
