Mark Wehrle
Mark Wehrle is a self employed business owner and manufacturers' representative who has been a resident of the 84th
district for 40 years. Purdue University graduates Mark and Kathy are raising their five children: a senior
at IU Bloomington, a sophomore at Purdue in West Lafayette, a junior at Snider High School, a 8th grader at Blackhawk
Middle School, and a 4th grader at Haley Elementary School. Mark and his family are members of two churches: St Charles
and Georgetown Christian.
Mark has been fighting career politicians and PAC money for 10 years.
In 1998 Mark ran against Souder with the slogan 'Stop the Bribery'. In 2002 and 2006 Mark ran for the 84th District
Indiana Statehouse. He was out spent 100 to 1 and 1000 to 1, respectfully. The voters just do not "Get it"... "Follow
the Money"!
While we hope you will vote for Wehrle in the 2008 election, it is more important
that you vote in the first place, no matter who for, so that the 84th district can be truly represented. Mark Wehrle
does not plan on running forever, and when he has won, does not want to become the career politician he has been fighting.
